About Veterans' Life Stories

Veterans' Life Stories is a student group here at the University of Pennsylvania. Our mission and goal is to connect with the veterans in the Philadelphia community, and talk with them to share their life stories in their own words. We interview and write down their stories to share with their family and friends and to publish for the Penn community to read.

It is our hope that by sharing these stories we can help the veterans connect with each other, provide them with the cathartic opportunity to talk about their experiences, help shift stereotypical perceptions of veterans among the Penn community, and offer Penn students a way to more deeply connect to the veterans around them.
